The editors didn't like
- Display is a tradeoff for the cheaper price
- Paying for additional years of Office 365 and OneDrive may end up costing more than the device purchase
- Full-on Windows 8.1 means there aren't any up-front roadblocks to what you can try to run. If you don't keep the Stream's lack of processing power in mind--or give a Stream to grandma who doesn't know any better--you're bound to run into some bad times. C
- Appearance might be a little garish for some
- Abysmal performance
- Iffy touchpad
- Even running a few tasks at once can slow it down. The touchpad is often finicky
- And the onboard 32GB SSD is too small for even casual use
- Performance and trackpad response can be slow. The 32GB SSD storage is low
- Design might be a little garish for some
- Won't cope well with more demanding programs
- Unspectacular HD display
- Slightly iffy touchpad
