The editors liked
- Samsung's S-Features
- As well as the ergonomic shape and the larger screen
- Make for an amazing bit of futuristic technology
- Agent Nayler
- Samsung's own 1.4GHz Exynos processor can handle anything you throw at it. I like the carefully chosen new features

The editors didn't like
- If you have smaller than average hands then this is likely not for you
- The S III is a little bit bigger than the S II but not as big as the Galaxy Note
- So bear that in mind when deciding on your device
- Design
- Samsung's “Designed for Humans” tagline re
- Agent Nayler
- While the S3 has some of the best specs on the market
- The casing feels slightly flimsy and to me the faux-brushed aluminium on the edges doesn't have the premium feel a phone of this calibre should have
- Agent King
- At only 133g
- The S3 l
- Lack of preloaded social apps
- TouchWiz UI
- Just doesn't cut it
- WiFi bug
- Poor reception and call quality
- Lags despite stellar specs
- Hyped up launch and marketing
- Underwhelming actual experience
- Poor integration of continuous trace input
- Not ideal for portraits
- Difficult to get close to your subject for macro shots
- No image stabilisation
- Polycarbonate chassis feels cheap
- Samsung's S Voice is a poor Siri clone
- Android isn't as good as iOS
- Google's Play store isn't as good as the App Store
- Some interface ideas are a bit strange
- The Galaxy S3's screen is too dim
- And Samsung's Siri competitor
- S Voice
- Disappointed
- Incredibly expensive
- No extra internal storage options
- Battery sub-par for 4G
- TouchWiz interface can be confusing
- Premium price
- Subjective design
- S Voice not optimised
- Display could be brighter
- Some minor software bugs
- Plastic casing is lacklustre
- Samsung extras like S Voice feel gimmicky
- Design is a bit vanilla
- It's nothing new or innovative
- Touchsensitive buttons often end up being pressed accidentally
- SVoice function nothing to write home about
- Home button has slight lag
- Some unnecessary proprietary apps
- Feels a bit plasticky and cheap
- Stock Android better than TouchWiz
- Some features feel gimmicky
- A downside to such a large handset is that one-handed operation can be awkward. Unless you own some large fingers
- That is. Stretching your fingers from one of the device to another proves uncomfortable. Like Apple’s Siri
- The Samsung Galaxy S3 has a voice assistant
- . Here it’s called S Voice
- Which in truth feels like a bit of a gimmick. It does work
- But we’re not used to talking to speaking to
- SVoice is disappointing
- Few updates from first Galaxy S3.
- Camera could be better SVoice not optimised
- Large and unwieldy

- Fantastic performance, Elegant design, Great screen and camera
- Plastic casing is lacklustre, Samsung extras like S Voice feel gimmicky
- So what's our overall verdict? Well, we don't want to give it back, which is exactly how we felt with the Galaxy S2 . Once again, Samsung has proven itself as the king of Android kingdom and there's no doubt the Galaxy S3 will fly off the shelves, even ...
